Parents do you trust your children? If not, why not?

I trust my children, because I TRUST the way I raised them. When they came to me with questions about the facts of life, I answered their questions. When they were young and wanted to watch R-rated movies, I sat with them and explained things. When they wanted to watch American Dad and other lewd shows, I said yes, as long as I don't hear curses from their mouths. They judge others by their character and not the social category they come from. They show an interest in driving I encourage it. If they want to date, I allow it as long as I meet the fella. If they want to go on facebook, I can't tolerate nastiness toward their brothers or sisters or answering unknown survey questions. We are doing a fantastic job! My children are growing up open-minded and well-adjusted. What is YOUR point of view?
