Teen girls...tight jeans in the summer?

Okay, so I love preppy clothing and stuff haha, but I was just wondering how many of you girls actually wore like low rise jeans in the summer? I can stand the tightness and stuff in the winter cause I like how they show off curves, but in the summer, sometimes, the tightnessss is just too hot and I feel really confined. (most of my jeans are the skinny kinds from hco and abercrombie) What are your opinions on wearing low rise jeans in the summer? Too tight? too hot?
