Why do honest and truthful answers get reported?

I think your answer was logical and there was no need for it to be reported. The only thing I can think of is maybe the contributor found that answer offensive and considered you ignorant ( as he stated ) and decided to report it, or, maybe a feminist read it and didn't like to hear the truth because it seems so wrong, and I agree that it is but there is no reason to report an answer merely containing facts, not opinions.
