Isn't the legality of Weiner's actions rather moot to whether he should resign?

David Vitter is still in the Senate, even after he committed ILLEGAL acts, so why should Weiner resign? As I have said in the past, if you want all the liars out of Congress, the halls will echo with silence. Or do you live in a fantasy world in which all other politicians except Weiner never lie?
